Reports

G3 RMS provides the following reports. Not all reports are available or applicable to all properties. For questions about when the data in reports is updated, see impact of processing on data.

Arrival By LOS Remaining Demand System remaining demand by Forecast Group, Room Class and LOS, by arrival date. Available only for properties with extended stay functionality enabled Analyze how the remaining demand for future arrival dates is distributed among the different Forecast Groups, Room Classes and lengths of stay, to see the extended stay demand for a future period and how that demand is reflected in different segments of the business
Arrivals By LOS Length of stay (LOS) distribution for a set of arrival dates and as of a specified date, and the percentage of total arrivals that have a length of stay equal or larger than a selected value Analyze how the arrivals for a date are distributed among the different lengths of stay
Booking Pace Booking pace data for an arrival date, viewable at different levels Monitor how bookings for a specific arrival date materialize in relationship to the occupancy forecast
Booking Situation On books data for each day of an analysis period next to each day of a comparison period, each as of one selected date, and the variance between the two Compare business on books (Rooms, ADR, RevPAR) for a period to the same period last year
Comparative Booking Pace Booking pace, Occupancy Forecast and LRV data for multiple occupancy days next to each other, displayed by Total Hotel, Group, Transient or Forecast Group Compare how each day has changed over time or compare the booking pace for a day to other comparable days
Data Extraction A broad range of property data that is used or produced by G3 RMS, in an exportable format Export the data that G3 RMS produces into a spreadsheet, to be used outside the system
Decision Pace A history of the pricing decisions generated for one occupancy date by Room Class, and a comparison of your pricing pace data to that of your competitors

Monitor how the pricing decisions for an occupancy date change in relationship to your property’s occupancy forecast, occupancy on books and your competitors’ pricing

Input Override

Demand and wash overrides for a period

Regularly review overrides and assess if they are still needed

Market Segment Mapping The Forecast Group and market segment to which a rate code and its relevant market segment are assigned Understand the market segments and Forecast Groups to which all your rate codes belong, particularly when you are new to the system and are not familiar with those mappings
Operations On books data and a short term forecast of arrivals and departures at the property level, based on current on books, expected demand to come and average length of stay data Gain an understanding of the breakdown between arrivals, departures, and stay-thrus at a property, as well as the additional business to expect for an arrival date, to assist operational teams with advanced staff scheduling and support other hotel operations
Output Override

Overbooking, Cost of Walk and pricing overrides for a period

Monitor overrides to assess if they are still needed, and remove or replace them with less restrictive input overrides, like Wash or Cost of Walk, whenever possible

Performance Comparison A table and graph of the booking pace and forecast for one period compared to the pace of another period of equal length, by either total Hotel, Transient, Group, or by one selected Room Class, Forecast Group, Business View or Market Segment

Compare pace not just as of one single day, as you can do in the Booking Situation Report, but over time, like pace over the last 90 days prior to the end of the month

Pickup/Change and Differential Control

The report has two versions:

Pickup: the change in performance metrics for a selected analysis period and over a selected activity period.

Change: the change in performance data and decisions for a selected analysis period since a selected activity date.

Pickup: For example, how much revenue did I pick up during the last 7 days (the activity period) for each arrival date in the next month (the analysis period)?

Change: For example, how much did revenue and pricing for the next month (the analysis period) change since the last nightly optimization (the activity period)?

Pricing Override History The history of changes to pricing overrides by Room Class for a period

Review your pricing overrides, particularly when you question a certain override or when you need to investigate past performance where the cause may have been a pricing override

Pricing A property's pricing for a period, compared to the pricing of competitors, and with other pricing information like occupancy on books, forecast by Room Class and property, out of order rooms and Last Room Value. Generate a reference document of your pricing and key related metrics
Production Report — All Rate Plans A break-down of how your rate plans, Forecast Groups and market segments contributed to the occupancy and room revenue performance for a period Understand total production statistics (Rooms Sold and Revenue) by rate code, for all rate codes that had production for a period, as well as the Market Segment and Forecast Group into which the rate code production rolled up
Property Attributes A consolidated view of the Property Attributes assignments for all the properties that are available to you View all property attributes at once, especially if you are tasked with managing the attribute setup of a large portfolio of properties
Rate Plan Production Pick Up and Change reports that show the productivity of rate plans Compare the rate plan productivity for each day of arrival to the pickup that took place between the selected activity dates, and monitor trends for a selected period compared to another period
Restriction

A summary of the LRV and the rate restrictions that G3 RMS has produced, by occupancy date

Manually deploy and update yield decisions in the Reservation SystemClosed The primary reservation system, like a PMS or CRS, that provides data to G3 RMS. The data from that one system is used by the RMS to forecast, optimize and produce controls. The controls are sent to all selling systems, which for some integrations may exclude the reservation system., if your reservation system does not automatically yield from LRV and, therefore, is unable to receive pricing decisions automatically, or use the report to understand the impact of rate decisions at the Room Class and individual rate plan level

Scheduled Reports A list of all scheduled reports for the property. Review current scheduled reports set up, such as when the report is delivered, frequency, and sent to email. You can also select to send, edit or delete the scheduled report.
Special Events A list of the Special Events in G3 RMS and their setup details Regularly review your Special Events, so you can ensure they are set up accurately
Straight Line Availability

Occupancy dates when a room type does not have availability for lengths of stay of two to seven nights, even though its Room Class has continuous availability considering its other room types

Find issues with straight line, or stay through, availability for a specified number of rooms for a future period, so you can choose if you want to move reservations between room types in the reservation system to free up space and create straight line availability

User Activity Log

Usage statistics by Role and user name for individual modules and properties

Understand in which modules users are working and for how much time, as a measure of their engagement with the system
User An inventory of users' property access, their account status, and the last time they signed in to G3 RMS Investigate if users' access to properties or Authorization Groups is appropriate and if that access should be changed
