User Activity Log Report
Generate the User Activity Log report to understand how much time users work in the G3 RMS modules, as a measure of how engaged user are. You can select to view user activity by property or Property Group, by Role, or specific users.
Reporting Steps
- Click
, then Reports, and thenUser Activity Log.
- Select the Start Date
and End Date to define the monitored period:
- Click the default date.
- Complete the dates using one of these options:
- Enter a date in the Selection field.
- Select Specific Date from the calendar. Click the left or right arrows to navigate between months. Click the double arrows to navigate between years. Click the appropriate date in the calendar.
- Select Rolling Date from the menu. Select the System Date or choose to offset the System Date by a defined number of days by selecting System Date - and entering the number of days to offset the System Date in the open field.
- Click Apply.
- To view users within a Property Group, change the default Property selection to Property Group.
- Select the properties:
- Select All Properties to return results from all properties or all Property Groups.
- Enter a character string in the Find field to find properties or Property Groups that have those characters in their name.
- Select one or more properties or Property Groups from those listed. Press Ctrl + click to select multiple properties.
- Select User Roles:
- Enter a character string in the Find field to locate Roles that have those characters in their name.
- Select All Roles to return results from all Roles set up within the selected properties.
- Select one or more Roles from those listed. Press Ctrl + click to select multiple Roles.
- Select the User Names:
- Enter a character string in the Find field to locate users who have those characters in their name.
- Select All Users to return results from all active users in the selected properties and Roles.
- Select one or more user names from those listed. Press Ctrl + click to select multiple names.
- Select a Report Format:
- Select On Screen to open the report in the lower pane.
- Select Excel to save the report as an Excel spreadsheet.
- Click Generate.

Data Details
The report displays the following information for each measured system module:
Column | Description |
---|---|
User Name | The user's name in the system. Users are listed multiple times for each date in the selected date range that they accessed the system and for each property or Property Group to which they have access. |
Property | The property in which the user was working when the activity was recorded. |
Property Group | The Property Group in which the user was working when the activity was recorded. |
Last Used | The date that the user last completed activity in the property or Property Group. |
Number of Visits | The number of times that the user opened the module and completed activity in it for the selected date range. |
System Usage (Min) | The total number of minutes that the user completed activity in the module during the selected date range. |
Average Duration (Min) | The average number of minutes that the user worked in the module per visit for the selected date range. |
Number of Evaluations | The number of Group Pricing Evaluations run by the user. |
