Group Products

Use group products to provide fast and automated pricing and availability for groups, without calculating their profit and displacement like a Group Pricing Evaluation does. Similar to Linked Products, G3 RMS optimizes the pricing for group products that are linked to BAR. Examples include inquires for small groups and automatic quotes for your brand website, call center, or third party booking channel.

Understand How G3 RMS Prices Group Products

You create different group products for small to medium group sizes. G3 RMS optimizes pricing from the Adjustment range set on the Default or Seasons tab, similar to linked products. The image below shows the process that they system uses to get to the final price for the group product.

View or override pricing for your group products on the Calendar or Tabular pages.

Understand Group Product Configurations

You can configure up to three group products and use the minimum and maximum rooms to define your room ranges. The room ranges must not overlap between each product and must be sequential with no gaps. For example, group product A has a minimum room count of 5 and maximum of 18, therefore, group product B must start with a minimum room count of 19.
