Best Practices
Investigate Multi-Room Complex Bookings
Use this page together with the Daily Demand by Status to find the days or periods when your demand by number of function rooms is considerably higher than your demand by number of bookings. Those days or periods usually include bookings with higher number of attendees and more complex requirements. Those bookings deserve further investigation to check if they are of higher value.
Click on the values for such days and find the specific bookings. Then investigate in your Sales and Catering system. Is the booking financially attractive, for example, because it includes nightly dinners, bar spend, break out rooms, and multiple guest room nights?Or does it block a lot of your function rooms without matching average spend, indicating that it's not a good utilisation of your space?
For past dates, click the values for Lost/Cxl and Turn Down bookings and review the reasons. This helps you understand why these multi-room bookings didn't turn definite, and you can build or update your strategy accordingly.
