Property Attributes

Enterprise clients use Property Attributes to help define their Property Groups and Authorization Groups, which are combinations of multiple properties. The attributes help them characterize their properties, for example, by country, region, or type of hotel.

The steps to use this functionality are:

  1. Create attributes and, if applicable, add specific values. For example, for a "Type of Hotel" attribute the values might be City, Rural, Suburb, Airport and Resort.
  2. Define the attributes for each property in Property Attribute Assignments.
  3. Use the attributes to combine properties into Property Groups. They allow you to review combined property data in Information Manager and on dashboards.
  4. Use attributes to create Authorization Groups in which users are assigned to groups of properties.

Before you create Property Attributes, consider which attributes best meet your needs to manage user access and view data.
