Property Attribute Assignments

After you create Property Attributes, use the Property Attribute Assignments page to map the attributes to each property. You can change or remove attributes for a single property or for multiple properties at once.

Setup Steps

Assigning Property Attributes

  1. Click , then Property, and then Property Attributes Assignments.
  2. Select a Property Name.
  3. For each Property Attribute, select or type a value, depending on the type of field.
  4. To remove a Property Attribute value, click the delete icon .
  5. Click Save.

Editing Multiple Properties

You may want to edit multiple properties to change or disassociate a Property Attribute from all the selected properties simultaneously. After you do so, you can delete disassociated Property Attributes, if needed.

  1. Click , then Property, and then Property Attributes Assignments.
  2. Click the By Filtered Properties tab.
  3. Select Filter Properties to expand a set of filters to locate the properties that you want to change.
    1. Click the add icon . A row of menus displays.
    2. In the first menu, select a Property Attribute.
    3. In the second menu:
      • Select Equals to filter properties associated with the value selected in the next menu.
      • Select Does Not Equal to filter properties that are not associated with the value selected in the next menu.
      • If the Property Attribute is Numeric, you also can select Less Than, Greater Than, Less Than Or Equal To or Greater Than or Equal To.
    4. In the third menu, select one of the values that is available for the Property Attribute.
    5. If you need to add another row of filters, select And or Or from the last menu, and click the add icon .
    6. Continue adding filters as needed to locate the desired properties.
    7. Click Apply.  A list of properties that meet your criteria display in the Properties Available pane.
  4. In the Properties Available pane, click the properties that you wish to update.
    • Enter a string of characters in the field to filter by properties that contain those characters.
    • Press Ctrl+click to select multiple properties.
  5. Click > to move the selected properties to the Selected Properties pane, or click >> to add all the properties.
  6. The Update Attribute menu displays all available attributes. Select the one that you want to change for all Selected Properties.
  7. Select or type the new value in the With Value field.
    • If no value is currently assigned to the Property Attribute for the selected properties, the default value displays in the field.
    • If values exist for the Property Attribute, the new value replaces the value that is currently assigned to all the selected properties.
  8. To remove a Property Attribute value from all properties in the Selected Properties pane, click the delete icon .
  9. Click Save.
