Group Pricing Configuration
Use Group Pricing Configuration to inform G3 RMS about the range of prices, costs, and group revenue streams in a group evaluation. This setup is required before you can run an evaluation and it influences the results of a group evaluation, like the recommended rate, the net profit and the displacement.
Setup Steps
Which steps do you want to learn about:
- Complete the setup of the Base Room Types.
- Define a range of rates for each Base Room Type in Ceiling/Floor.
- Define Offsets to price other room types within a Room Class differently.
- Add your property's per room Servicing Cost by Room Class, used to calculate the Gross Profit and Displaced Profit values.
- Define the Conference & Banquet revenue streams and their profit percentage, like meeting room rental or banquet food and beverage.
- Define the Ancillary revenue streams generated by transient and group guests, like restaurant, golf, spa and entertainment.
- Tell G3 RMS which Room Types you want to use in group pricing evaluations.
- Set up an optional Minimum Profit Percentage to define a profit value that groups must meet when you evaluate them.
- If G3 RMS integrates with your sales and catering system (like Delphi):
- Map the Guest Room Types between the systems.
- Map the Market Segments between the systems.
- If your property prices groups per attendee, also called Daily Delegate pricing, define the Package setup.
- If your property has a Delphi integration, use the Group Status tab to define the behavior of the Delphi codes.
