Reputation Competitor Mapping
With Reputation Management G3 RMS combines rate shopping with reputation management data to improve pricing. Use the Competitor Mapping - Reputation tab to match the competitors from these two data sets, which come from different vendors (who often use different competitor names).
You must match at least three rate shopping and reputation competitors that are checked for Use Rate Shopping Data. One match can be your property. The more matching competitors, the better decisions G3 RMS produces. If you have no matching competitors, ask your reputation management vendor to add competitors.
Setup Steps
- Click
, then External Data, and then Rate Shopping.
- Click the Competitor Mapping – Reputation tab.

Web Rate Hotel Name | The name of the hotel from rate shopping data. |
Reputation Competitor Hotel Name |
Select the hotel name from the reputation management data to map to the hotel's name from the rate shopping data. You can only assign a reputation competitor once. You do not need to make a selection if a competitor from the rate shopping data is not included in the reputation data. |
