Override History
Use the Override History tab to review if a pricing override existed for a selected date and Room Class. This information may be useful when you investigate the performance for a date, since pricing overrides in the past may have negatively impacted the system's ability to optimize demand. See Best Practices for Overriding Pricing for more information.
Steps to Review
- Click
and then Pricing. - Adjust the selections so the table displays the dates, Room Class and Room Type for which you want to view the data.
- Click the value of the Final Price for the date and room type. The Override window opens.
- Click the Override History tab.
Actions
- At the top, review the selected arrival date and Room Class. My Price is the Final Price
The value of the pricing decision that G3 RMS sends to the selling systems. Final Price is derived from the system's Optimal Price, after applying rounding rules, offsets and supplements (if applicable). Final Price also includes your configured tax value, if you are using tax-inclusive (VAT) pricing. for the Base Room Type The one room type in each Room Class on which the system bases its pricing for the other room types in the Room Class.
, or the final pricing decision that G3 RMS sends to your selling system. The arrow next to My Price indicates an increase or decrease since the last processing. - Click the back arrow
or forward arrow 
to move to the previous or next date. The available dates are limited to your date selection on the Pricing page. - Change the selected Room Class. The options are limited by your Room Class selection on the Pricing page.
- Click the notes icon
to view and add notes for the date. A check mark on the notes icon 
indicates that notes already exist.
Data Details
The Override History tab shows the override history information for all dates. The most recent change displays at the top of the list.

| Original Decision | The system's pricing decision before the override. |
| Override | The pricing override value. Point to the override icon to see what type of override was used. "Removed" displays next to the current pricing decision if an override was removed. |
| Updated By | The name of the user who last added or removed the override |
| Updated On | The date and time on which a user last added or removed the override, displayed in the property's time zone. |
